zelda sketches. this series is the reason i started drawing in the first place so i like to pay homage to it every now and then, often by re-interpreting the characters. this set consists of:

ganondorf (mix of all 3 incarnations), hilda (tried making her into more of an anti-zelda, dark skin to contrast her counterpart’s fairness), nabooru (as some sort of gerudo warrior/martial artist), ghirahim (weird mix of his regular/final form with some african influence), yuga (uh…), octorok (with massive ‘ed), saria (more of a ‘forest kid’ look), midna (with a freaky mask thing)

Holy shit the Midna

"what are the chances of EVERYONE in a group of friends being queer" you do realize that we all tend to flock together like penguins huddling for warmth in a cold, heteronormative world, right

This is a brilliant moment.
Here we have Kaylee, a mechanic who is not afraid to get a little (or a lot) of grease on her. She lives a pretty rugged life, but you know what? She also loves pretty, frilly things.
Joss could have taken her down the “I’m a tomboy and I scoff at your girly-things” route, but he didn’t. Instead he took her character and said hey, it’s okay to like engines and like pretty frilly things. You don’t have to give up one because it doesn’t fit in with the stereotype of the other.
THIS is the type of message TV should be sending; that you should never change an aspect of yourself just because you don’t fit into a stereotypical box.

Omg really?? No one here would ever even CONSIDER eating at a Denny’s; I don’t even know where there is one nearby. Generally after school events we have either the iHop or Steak ‘n’ Shake fill up, especially since they’re right down the road from one another. But if there is no event going on generally it is just empty. I like Sonic’s shakes best, personally, but I’m down for a Hershey’s Dark Chocolate shake at SNS any day xD

"One fun fact I learned while on the air with Keith Olbermann was that humans on the Internet are scumbags. People say children are cruel, but I was never made fun of as a child or an adult. Suddenly, my disability on the world wide web is fair game. I would look at clips online and see comments like, "Yo, why’s she tweakin?" "Yo, is she retarded?" And my favorite, "Poor Gumby-mouth terrorist. What does she suffer from? We should really pray for her." One commenter even suggested that I add my disability to my credits: screenwriter, comedian, palsy."
